We are looking for students who are passionate about developing their technical skills alongside like-minded peers and want to answer questions about the day-to-days of our world through an evidence-based, data-driven method. We love seeing people apply data science in new and unique ways to topics and areas that they are fascinated by!

We recommend that applicants have some experience with data analysis or statistical programming, but this is not strictly necessary. Many of our members have little experience (or none) with programming or data science when they join. Our two-part curriculum is designed to get everyone up to speed technically!

Be yourself, and please bring your personality! Think about who you are, your values, your principles, and your goals.

We welcome all students, regardless of their year or academic background, as long as they want to explore a future in a data-related field. Membership is only available to current UCLA students at this time.
